12/25 Christmas Party

Hello, I'm Evan Rocco, one of the American ALTs at Ueno Gakuen. On December 25 we had a little party for the students studying English. In the weeks leading up to it I spent several hours preparing little fabric ornaments in the shape of Christmas stockings for everyone to put together. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it to see everyone having fun and being creative while decorating. We watched the movie and drank hot cocoa and talked about our plans for the winter break. It was my first Christmas in Japan. Spending the day at school with the students and teachers was really fun and made me super happy! It was also the end of my first term at Ueno Gakuen and it was a wonderful way to celebrate.
